Your account data

BasketDNA stores your email, optional display name, a password hash, and an encrypted date of birth to check that you are at least 18. It also stores account preferences, active sessions and security records. If you enable two-factor authentication, its secret is encrypted and recovery codes are stored as hashes.

We use this information to operate your account, verify email ownership, recover access, apply your preferences and protect the service against abuse. Verification and recovery links expire and can be used only once. We do not store your password in plain text.

Emails and hosting

The application and database are hosted on OVHcloud. When email features are enabled, Brevo delivers account emails and processes the recipient address and message content, including the account verification or recovery link. Account emails are separate from the optional marketing preference.

Cookies and analytics

Essential cookies maintain your session and protect account forms. The site also supports aggregate usage measurements and analytics preferences, including browser privacy signals. Account and administration pages are excluded from page analytics. You can manage the available privacy preferences in your account.

Access and retention

Account data remains while your account is in use. Security tokens and sessions have expiry times; expired temporary authentication records are cleaned automatically. Retained security and audit records support account administration and abuse investigation. You can manage active sessions and request account access, correction, export or deletion through your account or the contact below.
